Using the x25 /28 inch fisker for a year,and it works well.After hurricane Irene I split 4 cords of locust.Started to get pain in my wrists.Right at the muscle of the thumb.Wonder if any one is feeling the same effect.Fiskers reported no problems. When using a splitting log under your to split piece,I put a 3/4 inch plywd under my splitting log to catch my fisker axe in case of miss hit. sign out :Plassmagas

I bought this axe because I wanted something lighter than what I have, and the reviews were very positive concerning the ease of splitting wood. I have split a lot of wood over the years, but now my shoulders no longer like an extended swing - bursitis, rotator cuff surgery, etc. I used the axe for the first time this week and I don't understand why it is SO good. I'm using a very compact swing with my back elbow basically at my side and the axe split 7 or 8 inch diameter oak (seasoned) with very little effort, first swing. As an aside I actually measured the wood I have because I wanted to be accurate. I was thinking it was 10 - 12 inches. I think most people would be surprised what the diameter of the wood they are splitting really is. I am really mystified why the axe is so good. It has a much more acute angled blade than my other mauls and it is teflon coated, but still. I do understand the issue with the length of the handle, but if you are an older guy/gal who can't swing as you used to, this is the axe for you.

The only reason that I say "I Hope" is because I'm not above losing one or more of them when taking them along as serving measures. The handles are plenty long to use them for that purpose (with a gloved hand, of course). These stainless steel cups are sturdy, well made and very easy on the eyes. If I didn't have porcelain tile in my kitchen I might hang them on the wall for display. Suffice to say that I love them. Very high quality over comes the somewhat steep price, as is so often the case.

I bought two sets and leave them hanging from a hook on the wall. They sit together nicely and the edges are crisp so that you can level them with ease. Heavy duty and seem like they will be around for quite some time. I am a huge fan of the 1/8th cup so I can stop guessing where the halfway point is on my 1/4 cup. Would buy these again.

I love these...from the sturdy stainless steel to the longer handles, to the measurements clearly stamped on each size to the hole in the handle if you want to hang or keep them all together on the little chain. Good sizing (I've read of others that are more wide and not as deep). Also liked that the set included 7 different measurements. I'm very happy with them.

It's so nice to send out cards that are not only unique (as opposed to boxed cards that are all alike) but also beautiful. I really like that there are a variety of card styles as well. Some were designed to hold a gift card, some are popout standup cards. I was really impressed with the one card that was like a flattened snow globe. Plus the box they came in is sturdy and decorative, and could be used as a gift box -- there are no outside markings on it. The only thing I would have liked to see is a count of how many cards are for gift cards. I gave out several gift cards this year, and knowing how many gift card holders were included would have saved me the time and money spent on other gift card holders.

Every year I send Christmas cards to my family and friends and I am always looking for different/unique cards to send out.
I wasnt sure about these cards because they do say handmade but I wasnt looking for something that might look like a scrap book type card (I could do that myself not buy them) the reviews raved about how nice the cards are so I decided to go with these.
The box is very sturdy and will hold up, if there were extra cards or if you were to save old Christmas cards or whatever you could reuse the sturdy glossy red box.
The cards (& matching envelopes) are all individually wrapped with plastic.
Every card is different and they all are very nice, they have pop ups on the out side of some, embellishments that are to perfection!
There are a couple with pop ups inside
There is one card that has a spot that you put a gift card in.
a few have glitter but its not too much glitter.
There are a couple cards that have a place for a photo.
Every card says something different as well.
Will easily be able to send the right card to the right person!
But I do know that everyone is going to love these high quality unique cards!
I went to the post office to see if I could just send these cards with the Christmas (forever) stamps I purchased- But an additional 20 cents per card is needed to ship these, which isnt too bad- But glad I checked so none were returned or the people I send them to wont have to pay for the card

Bought it a couple of months back since my car is hardly used (just once a month or so).
Kept it plugged in and exposed to sunlight which is good and strong in California.
But the current is too low to maintain a modern car battery (since nowadays lots of electronic things are sucking power continuously such as alarm, clock, engine diagnostics etc).

So the purpose of buying this was defeated and battery died as expected. So for cars / trucks kept for a long time without starting (say a month) instead of this, either buy a battery maintainer connected to the mains or a jump battery, both of which retails from $40 onwards. Don't waste money on this toy.

Just throw it on the dash and hook it through your cigarette lighter and forget it, just that easy. OK, well sure, you have to park in the sun or as close to it as you can get ;)

My truck sits for long periods unused and I was ruining batteries with all the deep cycling from draining and recharging. Now, I just leave this on the dash when not in use and BAM, no more drained battery! Truck starts perfectly without hesitation every time and has done so for a year now (where the battery took 6 weeks or less to drain before from the alarm). I live in the Pacific Northwest, so we don't get a lot of sun in the Winter and Spring, but no problem, it still works fine!

For those who have questions or misunderstandings:
1. There is a diode in the circuit, so it will not drain power when the sun is "off", the circuit is one-way (read the manual, it's right in there).
2. The blue diode may flash or stay on steady. According to the company, it does not matter, as long as it is on, it's charging, so don't worry.

I find it works best to have this sitting as flat as possible and as far forward on the dash as you can get it, so it gets the most sun. If you want to use the suction cups (I don't recommend it), you will probably need to turn the unit lenghwise up and down as the curvature of the windshield will keep the suction cups from adhering if you try to mount it side to side.

The Sunforce 50012 1.8-Watt Solar Battery Maintainer is working great with our Subaru Forrester. We have a 3rd party alarm system installed in the car and if we don't drive the car for a few months this drains the battery. The solar charger is easy to put on the dash and run the cord with clips out the driver door and under the hood to the battery to charge it. The clips are color coded so they are easy to connect to the right terminal. The solar charger should be disconnected when driving -- this is easy to do by popping the hood of the car to disconnect the charger. Our car has a channel that makes it easy to get the thin cord from the hood to the door frame without the cord showing so it is easy to disconnect and store in the vehicle itself. We cannot use it in the cigarette lighter as that is physically disconnected when the engine is turned off.

When the Mac hibernates, the switch sometimes fails to recognize the mouse and keyboard - forcing me to re-boot the Mac. This is very frustrating. I dont recall any problems with the Dell and HP computers I also have on the switch.
One more note: I sure wish there was a way to change port with teh keyboard (on my old KVM I could type CTRL CTRL 1, or CTRL, CTRL 2 for port 1 or 2 (respectively). I am unaware of a way to to that with this switch (although I have not done any searching for tips online).
Overall - I havent returned the KVM, but I am not happy. My problem happens only once every few days.


ConnectPro UR-14-KIT Review by Opinunated (USA)

This is my second KVM switch from Connectpro (KVM = keyboard, video, mouse). My first one (a two port) worked reliably every day for over 4 years. I only replaced the 2 port Connectpro with this 4 port one because I needed to handle more than 2 computers.

This Connectpro switches between 3 Dell computers. A 2400 running XP, a 8200 running XP, and a 351 running Vista.

Keyboard, monitor and mouse switch in LESS THAN A SECOND

HOW TO FIND OUT IF THIS SWITCH WILL WORK FOR YOU: There is NO mystery here. Simply disconnect and reconnect your USB mouse and USB keyboard while your computers are running and see what happens. Try booting your computer without the mouse and keyboard connected. You have then perfectly simulated this switch.

On a technical note: my new Dell Inspiron 531 with Vista refused to fully boot without the keyboard connected and generated an error message saying that. One simple change in the bios - "don't halt on error from keyboard" eliminated that minor problem. Even without that change, the system would boot once I had selected that system on the switch.

Finally this device is USB 2.0 compliant and not 1.1. The manual is outdated. I confirmed this with Connectpro's tech support (who answer their phone on the first ring and speak real English). I also verified this by using the device on these three systems and confirming, via the device manager, that it was recognized as 2.0 compliant.

The only thing lacking is the ability to switch the audio between multiple systems to a single set of speakers.

If you are unhappy with this unit you have not done the tests I've recommended.

The unit ships with 4 video cables and 4 USB cables - all of which seem high quality.

The ConnectPro KVM UR-14 works like a charm. Installation was a breeze, and the switch worked perfectly immediately with my wireless keyboard and mouse. I do not notice any significant degradation of resolution on the monitor, but then these old eyes may be suspect. Have not yet connected any peripherals for sharing, but that's the next step. Overall, an excellent product and well worth the money.

I fell in love with this bag when I first got it. It is a great size and has many pockets for organization. After 5 months the "leather" started to tear off the side pockets (think of what happens to pleather after some use). I figured that for the price, the quality would be better. Ju Ju Be considers this normal wear and tear, but even manufactured defects have a warranty of only 90 days. I'm so upset that I have to search for and buy yet another diaper bag. Bottom line, I'd put your money to better use.

Got this bag for myself so I didnt have to carry around my wife's more feminine looking Skip Hop Duo bag. Since then she has abandoned her diaper bag completely. This is a fabulous bag. The compartments hold everything you need, have lots of pockets and options for storing anything and everything. The brown leather with bright colors on the inside are kinda cool. It also has a little bling. The zippers seem quite durable. My only suggestion would be that in addition to a shoulder strap, I wish it had a small handle on top so that it could be carried like a briefcase. Its also a bit pricey, but worth it if your willing to splurge.
